Kaylah Cruz-Herrera (’16) profiled in Africa in Our Lives interview series

Kaylah Cruz-Herrera, an undergraduate double-major in African Languages and Literature and Gender & Women’s Studies, was recently profiled in the Africa in Our Lives interview series. Read the interview to hear about her scholarly inspirations, her experiences studying Arabic in Morocco and Oman, and her advice to students interested in study abroad.

She joins recent graduate Rebecca Mandich (’13), who is currently Resident Director of the Swahili Flagship and African Languages Initiative programs in the Zanzibar, Tanzania office of the American Councils for International Education.
