Join Nell Gabiam, Associate Professor of Anthropology and Political Science (Iowa State University), for a broad-ranging conversation on fieldwork and the writing of migrant communities. Professor Gabiam is an expert on refugee settlement and resettlement, Palestinian communities worldwide, and migration from Africa and the Middle East to western Europe.
In an informal dialogue with the audience, she will take questions and offer insights on her research around the Mediterranean region, Arab migrations in the era of civil war and ethnonationalism, refugee status, and Palestinian identity.
