Muezzin joins Notre Dame

ACS alum Ahmad Muezzin (MA, African Languages and Literature, 2016) has begun a new position at the University of Notre Dame. Muezzin is serving as a visiting assistant professional specialist of Arabic, teaching Arabic media and two language classes. He is happy to report that his students are very smart just like at UW-Madison and at UT-Austin, where he taught until recently. "It's giving me the intellectual challenge that I love," he writes. "And I'm loving teaching smaller classes of students. We have an Arabic club that I'm trying to be more involved at and I want to recruit more students to study Arabic and major in middle eastern studies here."
