McBurney Disability Resource Center training & Dealing with Academic Misconduct

McBurney Disability Resource Center’s new electronic accommodation and case management system, McBurney Connect, launched in summer. Through McBurney Connect, students will generate a Faculty Notification Letter for each class in which they are requesting accommodations. The notification letters will replace the student VISAs (Verified Individualized Services and Accommodations plan) and will be sent to instructors via email. Students are still expected to meet with you directly to discuss their accommodations. Many students have valid VISAs and may continue to present them during the transition. McBurney Connect includes an online faculty portal. By using your NetID, you may log in to the system to see a list of students who have requested accommodations in your courses. You can also access each student’s Faculty Notification Letter via that portal.
