Oluwadamilola Ogunmuko is interested in how transnational exchanges and identity formations shape global black cultural productions. Broadly speaking, her research intersects African and African Diaspora Studies, Cultural Studies, Ethnomusicology, Comparative Race Theory, and Ethnography. Before joining the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Oluwadamilola was a Lecturer at the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology, where she taught the Use of English and Communications in English. She earned a master’s degree in English Literature at the University of Lagos, Nigeria, and a bachelor’s degree in English Language from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
