Dr. Jacqueline Mougoué‘s work titled, Gender, Separatist Politics, and Embodied Nationalism in Cameroon has been awarded best monograph in the field of history published by a Western Association of Women Historians (WAWH) member.
The WAWH’s Francis Richardson Keller-Sierra Prize Committee members noted they were, “deeply impressed with the rigor and range of [the] research methodology, attention to how the book’s subjects defined themselves as they maneuvered among gendered expectations to organize politically through mundane activities, and the elegance of [the] prose.”
