Jaqueline Mougoué Joins Editorial Advisory Board for Feminist Africa

Dr. Jacquline Mougoué has accepted a position on the Editorial Advisory Board for Feminist Africa. Feminist Africa is “the continental home of Pan-Africanism and African Studies for Africans” and has been re-established at the University of Ghana’s Institute of African Studies at Legon, which is currently under the Directorship of FA Editor Dzodzi Tsikata.

In advising Feminist Africa, Mougoué will promote, mobilize and advance FA’s vision in the following ways:

  • Promote, circulate and advocate for FA among
    • Feminist African scholars, activists, writers, reviewers
    • Malestream African scholarly networks and organizations
    • The interested global community of scholars and activists
    • Academic fora – annual conferences, workshops and other such events
  • Undertake blind peer reviews
  • Assist in identifying and recommending contributors
  • Review back-issues and suggest future thematic areas
