Salah Algabli Named Future Faculty Partner

Salah AlgabliArabic teaching assistant Salah Algabli, has been selected as a 2019 Future Faculty Partner as part of UW-Madison’s Teaching Academy program. Future Faculty Partners are graduate students who have been formally recognized by the Teaching Academy as having demonstrated a deep interest in and commitment to higher education, and a willingness to commit to one or more years of active involvement in the Teaching Academy.

The UW-Teaching Academy was founded in 1993 with the purpose of promoting effective teaching and learning on this campus and nationally. This teaching community is made up of faculty, staff, and future faculty partners at UW-Madison run by volunteers who serve on an Executive Committee.

Algabli has been an Arabic instructor since Fall 2016, having earned two Honored Instructor awardsduring that time. He earned his M.A. with a pedagogy focus from African Cultural Studies in May 2018.  He began the Ph.D. program in Curriculum and Instruction in Fall 2018.
